Works Above and Beyond
Hope Hardwick, Facilities Management
Hope has shown extreme dedication in the Zoom phone integration for Facilities Management. Truly, there is appreciation across the board for the time and effort she has put into ensuring this effort has gone as smoothly as possible.
Travis Hegerle, Technology Services
Travis has been so kind and helpful with all of my questions these past few months. Whether about Zoom phones, my computer needing some attention, or printer issues, he's always quick to respond and never makes me feel like he's too busy to help. In addition, he checks on my team when he comes by and is always happy to take a quick question as he's passing through. Travis, you are appreciated.
Dr. Miguel Pedroza, Viticulture and Enology
Dr. Pedroza always cares of his students. He's helped guide me in the right direction in school and life. With Dr. Pedroza's help I have a chance to land a possible internship in France. A dream come true.
Olivia Pape, Brand Strategy and Marketing
We had a last-minute email invitation that needed to be sent to close friends of the university. Olivia jumped on the project and had a proof to review within an hour, coordinated with various offices across campus for approval, and never broke a sweat. Her expertise allowed this rush project to be completed without a hitch.
Kris Ratliff, Technology Services
I had a major problem with my computer at home. Hundreds of my documents disappeared! Kris worked for at least six hours and was able to find and restore all my documents. He persisted—and was cheerful about it—until the problem was solved. He also resolved other issues related to the computer's performance. I would be in a real mess without his help. Thank you, Kris. You deserve a high 10.
New Student and Family Programs
The New Student and Family Programs office houses an awesome team of individuals truly striving to invest in our students' wellbeing and sense of belonging on campus. From welcoming students at Dog Days New Student Orientation to continuing to support them through Mentor U, family programming, and supporting new activities for transfer students, this office really goes above and beyond. You are all appreciated!
Saved My Bacon
Tori Cisneros, Brand Strategy and Marketing
At the last minute, we needed a replacement for a search committee, otherwise delaying the process for two weeks. Tori volunteered to serve with less than an hour's notice of the first meeting.
Ashley Fagundes, University Advising Center
I can always count on Ashley. She is always there when I need her and is willing to step up at any time. Thank you, Ashley, for all that you do. It is much appreciated.
Scheduling Office
Academic Scheduling continues to assist us with moves and pivots that are critical to the success of projects on campus. We are eternally grateful for their flexibility, patience, and grace. We can't say enough positive things about their collaborative spirit.
