Robert Costa, a national political reporter with The Washington Post and a moderator for PBS’s “Washington Week,” will return as a guest speaker for the President’s Lecture Series, where he will engage in a conversation with Jim Boren, former executive editor of The Fresno Bee and director of the University’s Institute for Media and Public Trust.
“An In-Depth Conversation with Robert Costa: Inside the Trump White House, Congress and the Future for Both Parties” is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Save Mart Center. The conversation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

The President’s Lecture Series features prominent national guests invited to campus by Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro. The series began three years ago. Other national figures who have participated include New York Times columnist David Brooks (2016), presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin (2016), New York Times foreign affairs columnist Thomas L. Friedman (2017) and presidential historian Michael Beschloss (2018). Costa was a featured guest in fall 2017.
