Jeffrey Blanks has been named the director of budget planning and management. He starts his role on Monday, Dec. 2.

He joins Fresno State from the City of Clovis where he served as the deputy finance director and accounting supervisor. He has more than 15 years of accounting experience which includes working for the County of Fresno, where he was the accounting and financial manager, and Brown Armstrong CPAs where he was an accountant.

Blanks is a Fresno State alumnus, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, accountancy option. He is a member of the Fresno State chapter of Beta Alpha Psi business fraternity and is a certified fraud examiner.
