The College of Health and Human Services is excited to announce its upcoming "Innovate and Celebrate: Fall 2024 Grants, Awards and Research Showcase," on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Ellipse Gallery on the second floor of the Library. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our academic community to unite and celebrate the innovative research being conducted within the college. There will be several components to the event and attendees are invited to attend all or some of them:

Grants and Research Discussion (3 - 4 p.m.)
This session will provide valuable insights into the grant application process and available potential grant funding opportunities, helping recipients maximize the impact of their research and fulfill their requirement of learning about grant writing. Please join us and use this opportunity to refine your grant-writing abilities. Speakers include:
- Dr. Joy Goto, interim dean of the Division of Research and Graduate Studies, presenting on "the importance of research and its impact on Fresno State and the community."
- Dr. Gillisann Harootunian, executive director of University Initiatives for the Office of the Provost, presenting "the importance of of vision: leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality."
- Dr. Tania Pacheco-Werner, director of the Central Valley Health Policy Institute, presenting on "faculty grant and publishing collaboration opportunities within CVHPI."
- Dr. Nupur Hajela, associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, presenting on "fueling innovation: how grants and publications elevate our academic mission and vision."

CHHS Research Awards (4 - 4:30 p.m.)
Research Awards will be presented to RSCA/PRSCA recipients of the last year for their impactful research work. All research award nominees will be named and recognized.

Engage in discussions with our talented faculty and students, network with colleagues and discover exciting research opportunities.
