Dr. Luca Brillante, assistant professor of viticulture and Bronco Wine Company Viticulture Research Chair, presented on the topic, "Drought Irrigation Scheduling With Machine-Learning Technology" at the Tree and Vine Expo in Turlock on Nov. 9.
Dr. Anil Shrestha, department chair for the viticulture and enology department, presented on the topic, "Why Do Weeds Persist Despite Our Management Efforts" at the Grape, Nut and Tree Fruit Expo in Fresno on Nov. 12.
Dr. Keith Clement, professor of criminology, spoke at an international Transatlantic Apprenticeship Dialogue Dinner with German Minister of Parliament Doris Barnett. He presented on statewide IT-Cybersecurity apprenticeship projects and initiatives and spoke on his leadership role with the California Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship IT Subcommittee and its work on building statewide cybersecurity model industry training criteria for California.
