Dr. Chitra Kandaswamy, M.D., M.P.H., will explore the power of the subconscious mind. Various ancient Hindu philosophy and yoga texts have long addressed this inherent power, and now modern science has begun to provide its empirical evidence. Her presentation will be followed by Dr. Marcus Shaw's comments on his experiences working with juveniles.
Dr. Chitra Kandaswamy, M.D., M.P.H. is a physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonary critical care and lifestyle medicine.
Dr. Marcus Shaw, Ph.D. is associate professor of criminology with expertise in juvenile rehabilitation, family separation and unification, adverse childhood experiences and intergenerational traumas.
