The Africana Studies program presents the 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King/ Gunnar Myrdal Lecture "Searching for Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project in the Digital Age," by Dr. Quintard Taylor, Jr. Taylor is a dynamic speaker and founder of Blackpast, a website that houses every historical dimension that propels the controversial ideas of Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project. The website is a global resource and is used by many school districts.
