Fresno State enology students will showcase several new campus wines at free wine tasting sessions from noon to 4 p.m. through Friday, May 12, at the Gibson Farm Market (5368 N. Chestnut Ave).
Shoppers can taste and purchase the newly released red, white and rosé wines that include Tailgate Red and Tailgate White blends, 2018 vintages of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Syrah Rose and 2017 vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon, California Syrah and Petite Sirah.
Information is also available at the tastings for the Fresno State Wine Club, and membership is free.
The campus winery is the nation’s first and the largest bonded commercial winery on a university campus. Fresno State wines have won over 300 awards since the winery was officially started in 1997.
