Fresno State offers a number of academic and athletic summer campus for children of all ages.
Summer Kids Ag Camp (Ages 6 - 10)
8 a.m. to noon July 15 - 19
Cost: $75
Hosted by the Horticulture Nursery in the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, campers will have the opportunity to visit the diverse, 1,000-acre Fresno State farm and experience a variety of farm activities. Children will learn about food production and all of the amazing things that go into growing crops from a seed to harvest. The camp includes many hands-on activities and nature-based crafts, and children are guaranteed to have fun, learn a lot and be dirty at the end of the day. Registration opens at 8 a.m. on May 13. Red Wave livestock judging camps (Open to all ages)
One-day camp: Aug. 4
Cost: $50 (Registration includes lunch, judging book, drawstring backpack and T-shirt).
Two sessions of the three-day camp (Ages 8 - 19)
May 31 - June 2, Aug. 2 - 4
Cost: $200 (Registration includes dorm room, drawstring backpack, meals, judging book and T-shirt).
