The Cross Cultural and Gender Center (CCGC) invites you to join us for Legacy and Becoming, a special gathering to honor the history and impact of the center and the number of staff, faculty, students and community members who have shaped this space.

This event will reflect on more than three decades of advocacy, community and identity-affirming work, recognize the lasting contributions of Dr. Francine Oputa, and will mark the center’s evolution into the Student Success and Belonging Center.

As Fresno State moves forward, the Student Success and Belonging Center will build on this strong foundation by connecting belonging, community and culture more intentionally with student success, retention and achievement. This moment is both a reflection and a recommitment to ensuring that all students have the support, relationships and opportunities they need to thrive.
