We are so proud of how Emily has leaned in to continue the efforts for our Annual Giving program during a staff transition. She has taken the initiative, learned so much, dug deep and pushed through when she wasn't completely comfortable and delivered outstanding results! Our VP, Brady Crook, and I have enjoyed watching her grow in her role and excited for where she will go. We are grateful for her collaborative spirit and dedication to University Advancement and Fresno State.

Mike Martinez, Ag Operations
Mike Martinez may have literally saved the lives of all the faculty and staff located in the Vincent E. Petrucci Building when he was able to source and adapt a portable chiller to compensate for the complete breakdown of the long malfunctioning HVAC system in our building. Thanks to his tireless efforts over the years to fix an outdated system, students, faculty and staff have been able to continue their research and educational goals despite the occasionally sweltering conditions. Mike's commitment to seeing a job through is highly commendable, and very much appreciated. Thank you, Mike!

Fresno State Police Department
My son was in an accident at the roundabout around 9:30 p.m. on May 10. No one was hurt but airbags deployed. They were able to get the cars to the side of the road. Corporal Charlene Cornell and Officer Melody Hughes checked on everyone, put flares down and assisted on getting tow trucks. I really appreciated the police department's response.
