We are pleased to announce that, following a nationwide search, Scott Fetterhoff has been appointed associate vice president for Human Resources.

Scott has served as the interim AVP for Human Resources since January 2025. He joined Fresno State in 2023 as the Human Resources manager for Labor and Employee Relations.

A graduate of Fresno State, Scott is dedicated to fostering collaboration among staff, labor partners and university leadership on issues affecting their teams and the broader organization, while strengthening the services provided by the Human Resources team.

Before joining Fresno State, Scott served as director of Human Resources at the Lemoore Union High School District and as director of Human Resources and Organizational Development with the Fresno Housing Authority for more than five years.

Earlier in his career, Scott held a variety of leadership and functional Human Resources capacities in the private sector with Fortune 100 companies, including Dollar General, Frito-Lay and Target.
