Dear Colleagues,

I am thrilled to be able to bring a world-renowned talent, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, to headline our mariachi festival at the Save Mart Center on Saturday, May 7. This festival is not only an opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the iconic music of mariachi, but with the support of our generous sponsors including Valley Children’s Healthcare and Valley Wide Beverage, we have been able to ensure that proceeds from this event will support scholarships for all needy students at Fresno State.

I am grateful that our community has joined forces to host an amazing evening full of music, dancing and connection to support our next generation of bright, talented and diverse students. Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán will headline the event, with additional acts that include Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán and Mariachi Femenil Divas de Cindy Shea.
