Dawn Truelsen first came to Fresno State in 2001 as the senior instructional designer when Digital Campus was formed and Blackboard came to campus. She worked with the digital campus team on the five-year Title V grant and later spearheaded the "Clean Up the Web" campaign to design a new campus web standard and training to support it. She eventually moved to University Communications as the director of web services, and then on to Technology Services working on the PeopleSoft portal, the Fresno State mobile app and various user experience and web projects.
Truelsen is retiring after 21 years of service to begin her dream career in landscape architecture. She is joining the Bay Area ecology firm H. T. Harvey & Associates as a landscape designer.
