Nattaphone Suepsakwong (Keng Yang), is the first Hmong to be elected to position of official member of the Royal Thai Parliament. Suepsakwong chairs the sub committee for older persons, persons with disabilities and all ethnic minority groups, and an advisory committee member for children, youth, women, older persons, person with disabilities and LGBTQ in Thailand.

Suepsakwong is visiting the Central Valley for the rich agriculture and diverse communities in this region and Fresno State for its diverse student populations. He is excited to exchange ideas and learn from the United States on how to better represent and advocate for the diverse minority groups and deliver effective services to his constituents in Thailand. He hopes this visit will build and enhance the relationship between Fresno State and Thailand.
