Works Above and Beyond
Jay Fowler, Technology Services
Jay helped us resolve a critical issue by connecting directly with the vendor and using his expertise to troubleshoot the problem. We greatly appreciate his willingness to stick with the issue until it is fully resolved. The result is an improved solution for our Pivot resource, which assists faculty, staff and community members with their grant funding searches.
Michael Martinez, Facilities Management
Thank you, Michael, for going Above and Beyond!
Laura Mercado, Admissions and Recruitment
Thank you for providing assistance to students and the University as our department fills the vacant position. You are truly an asset to our department.
Robin McNeill, Construction Management
Robin works tirelessly to ensure the department runs smoothly. She has made improvements to procedures that aides efficiency and student success. She recently helped arrange three large events for our college and department in the same week in addition to her normal duties, which during registration is quite a feat. Thank you, Robin, for all you do ALL year!
Keila Reyes, Admissions and Recruitment
Thank you Keila for all of your hard work filling in for a vacant position. You are a true team player, and we appreciate the support you have provided to these students and the University.
Emily Roos, University Advancement
Thank you, Emily, for going Above and Beyond!
Saved My Bacon
Reyna Alvarado, Sociology
Thank you, Reyna, for assisting me with a recent Staples Order. Reyna assisted me when I was trying to submit an online office supply order. She is always ready to help.
Ty Cillufo, Desktop Support Group
This morning a student came in to get support from the service desk, but they were unable to assist him. I asked Ty to step in and help. Even though he hasn't supported the Service Desk in over nine years he said he would do the best he could and was able to get the students the support they needed.
Steve Nasse, Agricultural Business
I left for a multi-day field trip with students and accidentally brought the off-campus event papers that are required to be dropped off at the Police Station with me in our travel vehicle. I contacted Steve while on the way and asked him to make some copies from the files I left with the department and bring them to the Police Station, and he did so very quickly. Nothing happened on the trip, but I am glad Steve was able to help me out and make everything OK.
