On May 5, we celebrated 39 Outstanding Advisor Award nominees and announced the four recipients. This is the largest group of nominees in the 16 years of this award. We also had 350 unique submissions from students and staff. Advising does matter and the volume of student submissions testifies to that. Thank you to all who made time to submit a nomination. Our four recipients are:
- Isamar Alvarado – College of Social Sciences Advising Center
- Judy Clements – Educational Opportunity Program
- Dr. Karine Gousset – Biology Department
- Alexis Holladay – College of Science and Math Advising Center
A special congratulations to our recipients! Your devotion, care for students, and investment in creating an excellent experience for students has been acknowledged and felt by students and peers alike.
