Dr. Amber Hammons (Child and Family Science) and Dr. Ryan Robart (Psychology) welcomed their second child, Aidynn Natalie, on Feb. 19. She was 6 pounds 13 ounces and 20 inches, and joins 2-year-old big brother, Atticus.
Linda Launer (Public Health), a lecturer specializing in the area of environmental health and occupational safety, was recently recognized by State Center Community College District and Arte Americas Casa de Cultura with the Muro de Honor, which honors the contributions of outstanding members of the Chicano/Latino community within the State Center district. In addition to teaching, she is also a Realtor in Dinuba and this past January, was sworn in as a member of the Dinuba City Council.
Dr. Balaji Sethuramasamyraja (Industrial Technology) was honored as the Agricultural Engineer of the Year at the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers section meeting for California and Nevada. He was selected based on his contributions the past decade to the society, area agriculture and Fresno State’s applied agricultural engineering programs.
