I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering commitment to our talented students. I always appreciate the time I get to spend with you, in which we come together to share ideas about the future of our university.
In appreciating all you do to further Fresno State and its impact on our region and beyond, I am resolute in letting you know that I see and appreciate your great efforts. Know that I do all I can to further your success.
It was an honor to be able to share many of your accomplishments with our legislators, both in the federal and state governments, during my most recent trips to advocate for our university and our students. A special thank you to ASI President Carrillo, who joined me in Sacramento to share her powerful story of how a Fresno State education can be transformative for our individual students and their families.
As we begin to enjoy the spring weather, I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to celebrate collectively during this upcoming commencement season as we honor the achievements of our graduating students and commemorate their time here at Fresno State. It will be a joyous occasion, in which we come together to celebrate the triumphs of our students—the leaders who will lead our communities in the coming decades.
