Deborah Russell, administrative support coordinator for the Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education, passed away on March 9. She was 65 years old.

Russell joined Fresno State in 2003 as an administrative assistant for the Department of Recreation Administration and later the Department of Kinesiology. She joined the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology as a Department of Food Science and Nutrition administrative assistant in 2007, and switched to her most recent position in 2009.

She received the college's Distinguished Service Award and was loved equally by students, faculty and staff for her tireless service and devotion to others.

Join us in a Celebration of Life service for Russell at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the University Dining Hall, East Room.
