The entire campus community has moved to G suite today. Here’s what you can expect.
What will be migrated? Appirio will migrate your Zimbra Mail, Calendar, and Contacts into G Suite:
- Mail - All email will be migrated.
- Calendar - 7 years of your historical calendar events, and all future events will be migrated. Calendar events will not show up all at once. January 1, 2015 to present day will populate first, followed by older events.
- Contacts - All personal Contacts stored in Zimbra, excluding Contact Groups.
- Global Address List - A global address list has been successfully implemented and will be available to all staff, faculty and administrator accounts
Going forward:
- All email will be delivered to Gmail, and not to Zimbra
- All new Calendar events will be sent to Google Calendar
- All Contacts will be stored in Google Contacts
As of today, you will see all your email. Throughout the day, you will see your Calendar events populate. As you create new events in Google, double-check your Zimbra calendar to ensure that you don’t miss a meeting and can respond to meeting requests.
How do I log in?
Log in to your G Suite account by opening your browser and navigating to https://mail.fresnostate.edu. You should enter the same username and password that you have been using to log into Zimbra.
