Save the Date for Staff Training And Recognition (STAR) Day on Wednesday, May 29 in the Save Mart Center.
This year’s STAR Day event will feature a luncheon celebrating our staff honorees, professional development workshops, a vendor fair, raffle prizes and more. Our theme this year is “From Breakage to Brilliance.” It is inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, which symbolizes resilience and finding strength and beauty in the process of repairing and adapting to adversity.
Are you interested in leading a workshop at this year's STAR Day? The STAR Day committee is accepting workshop proposals that support this year's theme. Workshops can also be related to Fresno State's Principles of Community, leadership and professional development, personal
development, stress management, health and wellness or technology.
Submit your proposal here. The deadline to submit proposals is Wednesday, April 10. There will also be an opportunity to volunteer to support the event. Keep an eye out for the volunteer sign-up.
