Iran Barrera (Social Work Education) was among the panel of motivational speakers at Pueblo Fest 2017, held on March 18 at the International Agri-Center in Tulare. He discussed mental health education as it relates to the Latino community. Deemed the "Latin Coachella," Pueblo Fest included an educational component, in addition to a live music festival for its three-day run. Barrera has also released an e-book, "The Glove", which follows the journey of a young Latino boy living in the Central Valley who wants to buy his first baseball glove.
