The campus community is invited to a free presentation by History Department faculty member Dr. Lori Clune on the rules-based international order and the global institutions created to prevent catastrophic global conflicts.
Since their creation after World War II, the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights have succeeded in some respects but failed in others.
With new conflicts emerging around the world, the presentation will discuss the fragility of these international structures and their future.
Date: Tuesday, March 3
Time: 11 a.m. to noon
Location: Library, Room 3212
