The Students and Practitioners for Interprofessional Collaboration and Education (also known as S.P.I.C.E.) will hold its fourth meeting of the semester from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at California Health Sciences University (120 N. Clovis Ave), with a focus on the opioid epidemic.
The collaborative brings students, faculty and health professionals from Fresno State and California Health Sciences University, together in an interactive, team-focused discussion about a health-related issue facing the Central Valley. It offers those in attendance the opportunity to learn from, with and about other health professionals' roles and the chance to network with other students and professionals from around the Central Valley.
Faculty and students from all majors at Fresno State are invited to attend the free, monthly meetings. Lunch is provided. Register for the March 7 meeting or future meetings by clicking here. To learn more, contact Dr. Marie Gilbert, director of the Central California Center for Excellence in Nursing at mgilbert@csufresno.edu.
