| As part of a nationwide search that began in fall 2018, candidates for the position of provost and vice president of Academic Affairs are visiting campus this month. The schedule of opportunities to meet the candidates is included below. Faculty are encouraged to attend the Faculty Forums, and everyone is encouraged to attend the Open Forums. Since the departure of Dr. Lynnette Zelezny in June of last year, Dr. Robert Harper has been serving as interim provost. The provost serves as the University’s chief academic officer, overseeing all academic programs, including instruction and research, and providing leadership for academic administrative operations.
