Save the Date! Staff Training And Recognition [STAR] Day 2025 is set for Tuesday, May 20, at the Save Mart Center — a day dedicated to celebrating the hard work and dedication of Fresno State staff. This beloved campus tradition features a welcome breakfast, special luncheon recognizing years of service award recipients, professional development workshops, a vendor fair, raffle prizes and more!

This year’s theme, “A Full House of Bulldog Pride,” is all about the positive chances STAR Day offers — chances to embrace opportunities for growth, to network and connect with colleagues, to celebrate milestones, have fun and win prizes — no four-leaf clovers required!

Are you interested in leading a workshop at this year’s STAR Day? The STAR Day steering committee is looking for workshop presenters to support this year's theme. Workshops can also cover topics related to Fresno State’s Principles of Community, leadership and professional development, personal development, stress management, health and wellness, or technology.
