Dr. Amanda McKeith, associate professor, Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education Department, gave a seminar on water holding capacity in meat products at the California Association of Meat Processors Convention in San Luis Obispo.

Dr. John Henson, professor, Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education Department, gave a presentation on cell-based cultured meats at the recent California Association of Meat Processors Convention and Competition in San Luis Obispo. He also served as a judge for the event's processed meats competition.
