Fresno State’s faculty will be on display beginning March 12 when the nine-episode docuseries “Turning Point: The Bomb and The Cold War” premieres globally on Netflix.
To celebrate the documentary and the participation of two Fresno State professors tied to the project, a special screening will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, presented by the College of Social Sciences and the College of Arts and Humanities at Fresno State.
Fresno State history professor Dr. Lori Clune will be featured in the documentary as a historian and expert on the Cold War.
“As a historian of modern U.S. history, I firmly believe that there are many lessons we can learn from the fascinating and disturbing history of the Cold War. I was proud to be interviewed for this thought-provoking documentary,” Dr. Clune said.
Clune isn’t the only Fresno State expert working on the documentary.
