Every Monday this month is March Match Up Monday!
Head to any Pieology restaurant location in the Central Valley, any time Monday, show the flyer below and 20 percent of your purchase will go to support the Fresno State Student Cupboard. The offer excludes online orders and alcohol sales.
Pielogy is one of the community partners supporting this year's March Match Up campaign. The goal is to raise $100,000 from community gifts for the Student Cupboard to help stamp out hunger on campus.
Located in the Grosse Industrial Technology building, Room 144, the Student Cupboard fights food insecurity by providing Fresno State students with free fresh and nonperishable food items and hygiene products. It is one of the initiatives under the Food Security Project to increase student access to nutritious food.
Founding sponsor Moss Adams, LLP, Granville Homes and an anonymous donor will match, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000 in gifts to the Student Cupboard during the campaign.
Other community partners will support March Match Up in the following ways:
- Dutch Bros. will donate a portion of its March 13 sales from its six Central Valley stores to March Match Up, with a goal of raising $10,000.
- Macy’s has selected the Student Cupboard to be the March beneficiary of its “Bag Hunger” campaign. Customers are encouraged to “round up” their purchases between March 15 and March 31, donating their change to benefit the Student Cupboard at the Fashion Fair and River Park locations.
On campus, the Gibson Farm Market and the Kennel Bookstore will also "round up" purchases this month, donating the change to the Student Cupboard.
Help spread the word about the campaign on social media by using the hashtag #FSMarchMatchUp when you donate or purchase items during these events.
