After 25 years of dedicated service in the Facilities Management electrical shop, Gabe Valencia is retiring from his role as the supervising electrician in early June.

Gabe has been a reliable, committed employee whose expertise and campus experience will be sorely missed. No matter what time of day or night, he responded to the campus needs with unfailing dedication. His tireless work ethic and oversight has been critical in maintaining safety and security on campus and his historical knowledge has been key in projects and emergencies alike. Not only will we miss the quality of his work, but we'll also miss that special spark he brought to the Facilities Management family.

We wish him well on the next phase of his journey. Thank you, electric one.
