Terrance J. “Terry” Tumey will be appointed the next director of athletics.
Tumey most recently served as the director of athletics at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, a unified Division III athletics program in Southern California. Prior to that, he served at UC Davis and Dominican University. In addition, Tumey’s experience includes working for the NFL with the Denver Broncos (1999-2000), before moving up the ranks with the San Francisco 49ers and becoming the director of Football Administration (2004-2009).
Tumey has a rich history in football, having turned a playing career at UCLA (1984-87), where he was a three-time All-Pacific-10 Conference defensive lineman, into a coaching career.
