Works Above and Beyond
Antoinette Castanon, Procurement
Antoinette needs to receive an award above High Fives—she is truly the most helpful person on campus! When I come to Antoinette with an ordering question or problem, she immediately jumps on the issue, takes ownership and is committed to it until it is resolved. Her communication and service are unparalleled. I cannot imagine working through some of the snags that come up with our college's ordering without Antoinette's unconditional support and willingness to help. She's a superstar!
Alexis Castro, Degree Audit (University Registrar)
Thank you, Alexis, for helping our unit with a special project. We really appreciate your help!
Pilar Garcia, University Registrar
I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Pilar for consistently going above and beyond expectations. On two separate occasions, she generously assisted students and even took the initiative to engage with the Admissions Lead to aid a student in need. Despite it not being her direct responsibility, Pilar consistently demonstrates her willingness to help and provides exceptional customer service to our students. Her positive attitude and dedication to outstanding service are truly commendable. Thank you, Pilar, for your tireless effort’s day in and day out.
Holly Head, Degree Audit (University Registrar)
Thank you, Holly, for helping our unit with a special project. You went above and beyond indeed. Awesome job!
Victoria Lee, College of Science and Mathematics
Even though Victoria has transitioned to a new department, she continues to be extremely helpful and accommodating in providing her experience and knowledge with her former department. She is always so cheerful and happy to assist when we run into questions, we do not have answers for. She is a pleasure to work with and continues to be an invaluable asset to our department even though she is working in another area of our campus.
Sam Porraz, Degree Audit (University Registrar)
Thank you, Sam, for your continued support to our unit. Your team worked hard to help us with a special project, and it is truly appreciated. Thank you for all that you do for the campus community!

On behalf of the Student Involvement staff, thank you. You are most appreciated!

Dolores helped with last minute arrangements to accommodate a group of students visiting the campus. She was quick to respond and provided excellent customer service and the support we needed. We appreciate you Dolores!
Mehrzad Zarrin, Student Involvement
Mehrzad helped us relocate some critical events that were impacted by the lack of campus cooling. She was quick, gracious and patient given the last-minute nature of the request. I can't say enough great things about Mehrzad and how she is always there when we need her!
Student Involvement
Student Involvement assisted with relocating over 200 people for an event due to the cooling issues. Facilities Management is eternally grateful for their grace, kindness and accommodation during this difficult time. We are appreciative of their continued partnership.
