Playing With Your Inner Critic
10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30
Presented by Jeff Harry, International Positive Psychology Play Speaker. While we spend most of our time pretending to be important, serious grownups, it's when we let go of that façade and just play, that the real magic happens. Fully embracing your own nerdy genius — whatever that is — gives you the power to make a difference and change lives. Jeff believes that we already have many of the answers we seek, and by simply unleashing our inner child, we can find our purpose and, in turn, help to create a better world.

The Art & Science of Building an Organizational Culture
10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 30
Organizational culture is like the wind. It is invisible if one does not know what to look for, but you can feel it. Like the wind, when it’s working against you, things are more challenging. But when it’s working for you, things become easier. Once we understand that our teams, departments and campuses have a culture whether it is planned or not, it becomes clear that building one with intention is of the upmost importance from a human and a business perspective.
In this 90-minute workshop attendees will learn how to make culture more tangible, understand how culture impacts everything they do and how to shape a culture with more intention. This session will include an introduction to two proven models to understand culture and how it is shaped. Attendees will also be introduced to practices that can be implemented simply regardless of circumstance an organization is confronted with.
