Looking for hands-on ways for your kids to learn this summer about fun and interesting agricultural topics like livestock, plant, soil, dairy and water science?
Ag Camp is back! Sign up your children between the ages of 7-11 for hands-on, learning experiences with our agricultural students, staff and faculty on its amazing, 1,000-acre campus farm.
Twenty spots are available for each weeklong session from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays July 26 through 30 and Aug. 2 through 6. The $150 registration fee includes all instruction, materials, supplies, healthy snacks, and an unforgettable Fresno State agriculture experience. Registrants are asked to sign up at this link for only one camp session, which is hosted by the Institute for Food and Agriculture.
"Ag-in-a-Bag"
"Ag-in-a-Bag" kits are available at the Gibson Farm Market. Designed by our students for youth in first through fourth grades, each bag includes handouts, supplies, non-perishable ingredients and many other surprise items. Videos related to each lesson will be posted on YouTube each Monday in June. Families can pay for the bag online. If paying online, bring proof of payment to the Gibson Farm Market when you pick up your bag. Bags may also be purchased in person at the Gibson Farm Market located at 5368 N. Chestnut Ave., Fresno, 93740. (While supplies last).
