The California State University will adhere to IRS guidelines for a standard mileage rate for business travel occurring on or after July 1, 2022. The IRS mileage rate effective July 1, 2022 will be 62.5 cents per mile, which is an increase from the January 1, 2021 rate of 58.5 cents per mile. Miles driven for moving purposes will be reimbursed at 22 cents per mile, increased from 18 cents per mile.

Please note that the OnBase Travel Expense Claim may require a manual recalculation of the mileage rate for correct reimbursement amounts, since it is limited to two decimal places only.
