Dr. Tamera Pullins will become the new associate vice president for Student Success, effective July 1, 2018. She brings more than 27 years of higher-education experience serving as an administrator, director and program coordinator.
For the past five years, Dr. Pullins has served as the director of the Center for Advising, Career and Student Success at California State University, Monterey Bay. Prior to holding this position, she was the associate academic vice president at Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas, where she developed and implemented a campus-wide retention plan.
Dr. Pullins has served on numerous committees across various institutions throughout her career, including a WASC accreditation team, an advising leadership team consisting of EOP programs, and as a board member for the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).
As the new associate vice president for Student Success, Dr. Pullins will oversee and provide strategic vision to various Student Success programs and services.
