Join the summer book club! Book club is open to all Fresno State employees, encourages reading, provides a platform for sharing thoughts and insights and fosters a sense of community among members.
Participants can expect to engage in discussions about the book's themes, share their perspectives and gain deeper understanding and enjoyment of the reading material through collective conversation.
The first 25 participants to register will receive a complimentary paperback copy of the book with the expectation that they engage and participate in at least two sessions.
The summer reading selection, "Rest: Why You Get More Done When You Work Less" by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang explores the relationship between rest and productivity, arguing that deliberate rest is essential for achieving peak performance and sustaining creativity over the long term.
