Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy has announced the appointments of two new head coaches for Fresno State women’s sports programs.
Mary Ritchie was named head coach of the Fresno State women’s golf team. She arrives after 11 seasons at UC Riverside, where she led the Highlanders to their first Big West Championship in 2016. During her tenure, she guided the program to six tournament victories, mentored five individual champions and coached 16 All-Big West honorees. Under her leadership, UC Riverside produced three NCAA Regional qualifiers, and in 2023, Tiffany Le became the first Highlander to advance to the NCAA Championship, finishing 19th nationally and earning Big West Golfer of the Year honors.

Charlotte Morgan was named the sixth head coach in the history of Fresno State Softball. She joins the Bulldogs after four successful seasons as head coach at CSUN. A former All-American and national player of the year finalist, Morgan brings elite-level playing experience and a strong track record of player development. Known for her strategic expertise and competitive spirit, she embraces the legacy and high expectations of Fresno State Softball. Her deep ties to California and demonstrated success at CSUN position her as a strong fit for the program and the Valley community.
