Works Above and Beyond
Angelica Lopez, College of Health and Human Services
Angelica has recently become the budget analyst for the College of Health and Human Sservices (and Kremen) and has already won over many of us in the college. She has a lot of cleaning up to do in her position, but she still makes time to meet with the ASC's and department chairs to review budgets and strategize on how to make them better. She knows what she is doing, and if she runs into something she is not familiar with (there isn't much she isn't familiar with), she doesn't deflect it; she says, "I will look into that and get us an answer." For the first time, we are going into a new fiscal year confident that we have support when and where we need it. Thank you, Angelica!
Provides Excellent Customer Service
John Wagenleitner, Technology Services
John consistently provides prompt and complete assistance, solving the issues presented to him, and communicating the solution in a courteous and sincere manner. Many thanks are offered to him for his work over the years supporting the library.
Facilities Management
Our office of Innovation & Digital Excellence for Academic Success (IDEAS) is very appreciative of our campus team members. The painting project in the library was successful from start to finish, working with Anibal Tellez to coordinate and finalize details. Joaquin Yepez and Juan Cisneros did exceptional work with their attention to detail. Your efforts are all appreciated by our IDEAS team! Thank you!
Modeled Principles of Community
Tiffany Jennings, Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership
I would like to recognize Tiffany for modeling Fresno State’s Principles of Community through her kindness, support and collaboration. Although she works in another department, Tiffany was incredibly willing to take the time to help me, answer my questions and guide me through a process that was new to me. Tiffany is truly the best. She is patient, supportive and beyond friendly. Her warm, welcoming and approachable attitude made a meaningful difference, and she explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Her kindness and positive energy turned what could have felt overwhelming into a much easier and more pleasant experience. I truly appreciate Tiffany’s helpful spirit and the care she shows to others. She is a wonderful example of someone who contributes to a welcoming, respectful and collaborative campus community.
Saved My Bacon!
Jenny Diaz, University Registrar
Jenny was so helpful! I consulted her about a form, and through conversation and dialogue, she redirected me to the correct path. She truly centered student success in her approach and went above and beyond to help me find a solution. I am very thankful for her expertise, guidance and support. Thank you to Jenny and her team for being strategic partners.
Azucena Gutierrez, Academic Resources
I have been working on getting some forms approved for some time now, but I was out for several days which would have delayed things more. Azucena very kindly took this on and submitted all of the necessary documentation on my behalf to ensure timely processing. Thank you so much for helping me with this. I truly appreciate you!
