Reyna Alvarado, Sociology
Reyna attended the Dog Days orientation session for incoming students. She noticed when students seemed confused and asked questions to help them better understand the registration process. A great team member!

Bernadette Nelson, Admissions and Recruitment

Yang Sao Xiong, Anthropology
Yang took over the ASAM coordinator position in an instant and completely advanced the programs for students, faculty and staff. He also served on a time intensive search committee and again slam dunked an excellent new hire. Although he has not been here long, he has affected intergenerational change for both future students and faculty by designing all the ASAM certificates and changing two classes to MI (multicultural). He is also a first rate scholar and Fresno State is honored to have him.

Accounting Services
The Accounting Services department works above and beyond every single day. I don't think we give enough credit to our lovely Accounting Department. They are the ones who make sure our university is up and running. The staff members in this department are incredibly outstanding. Here is a list of some of the staff members that I can always count: Cynthia Hanks, Anna Andalon, Eva Owens, Paola Linares, Ashley Yu, Marie Cunningham and Virginia Nevarez. Thank you for all you do for our campus Accounting!

Heather Parish, Library - Administrative Offices
As an emergency hire and new member of the team, Heather unselfishly took it upon herself to onboard me and provide historic information of personnel positions, navigating the nuances of the library, and articulating the culture, vibe and need-to-know of my position. Her sound advice, exceptional professionalism, personal initiative, and loyal devotion to meet objectives reflect great credit upon her and were in keeping with the highest standards of Discovery, Diversity and Distinction.
