Join the Staff Assembly Executive Committee [SAEC] in our mission to strengthen the Fresno State community by boosting staff morale through engagement, representation, inclusion and a sense of belonging.
SAEC is responsible for planning and hosting staff appreciation and networking events such as Red Friday, Homecoming Office Decorating Contest, Staff/Faculty Holiday Party, Vintage Days Kickoff Breakfast, mixers, giveaways and more. SAEC also represents staff in important campus decision making through involvement in the Alegria Mental Health Task Force, Campus Planning Committee, Academic Senate, Technology Steering Committee, budget meetings with the President/Cabinet, and the Campus Events Collaboration.
SAEC is accepting membership applications for the 2024-25 academic year. Membership benefits include professional development, leadership, networking, employee engagement, affirming diversity, equity and inclusion, and FUN! The estimated time commitment is two to 10 hours per month, with possible additional commitments for larger events.
