Works Above and Beyond
Jennifer Lewis, Library Administrative Services
Jennifer has coordinated the logistics of library events, spaces and meeting bookings for one year this month. This is a critical role and impacts everyone on campus who books spaces in our library. From the very beginning, Jennifer has given 100% to the work, meeting with event hosts, walking through set-ups and helping folks solve problems throughout their event planning process. In just one year, she has created meaningful relationships with those she has collaborated with across campus, offering her cheerful nature and get-it-done know-how to every situation. Providing free and low-cost spaces for meetings and events is one of the Library's most valued resources. Jennifer has raised the level of service in our spaces with good cheer and great capability. Thank you, Jennifer!

Thank you, Cynthia, for your leadership! You are so quick to respond and jump in. Thank you, accounting department, for all that you do!

Saved my Bacon
Olga Nunez, Educational Talent Search-Fresno
During Spanish Dog Days she provided parents with firsthand examples of how it is to be a parent of a student. As well as assisted when I needed help with translating words from English to Spanish when I would draw a blank. Last but not least, she provided an uplifting vibe and brought the energy so that parents were awake and paying attention.
Tom Ramirez, Military Science and Leadership Army ROTC
Tom, you were an excellent colleague to work with during Dog Days. Thank you for helping us in a pinch when we needed to move tables and give instructions to others. You are an exemplary leader on campus.
Angelica Reyes, Administration and Finance
Angelica, thank you for your exceptional assistance with the budget during our transition to the Human Resource team. You answered our many questions with patience, kindness, and thoroughness. Your expertise in clarifying dates, deadlines and procedures, along with recommending strategies and initial steps, was incredibly helpful. Your guidance on follow-up actions, identifying key contacts and improving our processes has been instrumental. Thanks to your insights, we are better prepared for the upcoming fiscal year. Thank you for Saving our Bacon!

Thank you for your support and providing excellent customer service!
Jennifer Lewis, Library - Administrative Offices
I have been trying to find a venue for an event for weeks now and I was recommended to reach out to Jennifer regarding a space in the library. Jennifer was amazing, reached out immediately, and was able to answer any questions I had about the library spaces!

Thank you, Jacob, for your invaluable assistance with the Delegation of Authority (DOA) process and your willingness to provide clear, step-by-step instructions. Georgette Shuman, Police Department
Over the weekend, I couldn't find my laptop after moving into a new loft downtown. Saturday morning, I drove to campus, but the University Student Union building was locked. I called the Police Department and spoke with Georgette. I explained my situation and that I could access my office but not the building. In less than five minutes, an officer arrived to let me into the building. Kudos to the officer for helping me out, but I especially want to give a high five to Georgette for her excellent customer service. She really went Above and Beyond. Thank you, Georgette!
