The campus sewer infrastructure is 60 years old and needs some maintenance work.
This summer Facilities Planning is replacing some of the underground existing sewer pipeline on campus. Some restrooms on campus will need to be temporarily shut-down in order to make the switch-over to the new sewer line. Facilities Planning will maintain at least one men's and one women's restroom at each building listed below, with the exception of PHS. PHS will need all restrooms closed from July 19 to July 25, but all other building restrooms near PHS will be open.
Facilities Planning is installing temporary sewer bypasses on mainline sewer lines so there is no impact to buildings for mainline work. The general timeline that specific buildings will be affected is listed below. Facilities Planning may have to adjust the schedule. If your building is not on the list, Facilities Planning anticipates no interruption to sewer service to your building.
Signs will be posted on restrooms which are being closed with directions to the closest available restroom.
