Dr. Rafael Lemus, assistant professor, Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, won the José Revueltas 2022 Fine Arts Prize for Literary Essay for his work "Atlas of (another) Mexico."

Dr. Nicole Smith, associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology, co-authored "Association of Masking Policies with Mask Adherence and Distancing during the SARS-COV-2 Pandemic" in the American Journal of Infection Control — a collaborative piece among members of the national Systematic Observation of Mask Adherence and Distancing (SOMAD) team.
