Works Above and Beyond
Geoff King, Technology Services
Geoff was willing to give hours of his time to help troubleshoot an issue we were having. Without his knowledge and hard work, it’s hard to see the project still being a success. Thank you, Geoff!
Provides Excellence Customer Service
Noah Cutler, Office of the University Registrar
Noah is quick and easy to work with. We appreciate his willingness to help us with our questions regarding associate degrees for transfer, articulations and help with assist.org. Thank you for making things easy on our end Noah!
Kong Meng Lee, Technology Services
The library is very fortunate to have Kong as our IT liaison. He is efficient, easy-going and has a calming presence at just the moment when the tech goes awry. He always responds in a timely manner and is willing to do what needs to be done without any equivocation. His communication is also pithy, and all about getting the problem solved to the best of his ability. His presence in the library is a comfort to us all.
Jerry Robertson, Facilities Management
Jerry is one of Facilities Management’s greatest assets. I have seen him working on everything from finishing cabinets to clearing out and reorganizing equipment rooms in multiple buildings. Facilities staff know that these equipment rooms take a lot of work to clean out. Jerry does not shy away from any task, no matter the complexity.
Robert Medina, Office of the University Registrar
Thank you, Robert, for providing excellent customer service!
Modeled Principles of Community
Amy Luna, University Police
In her role as the university's manager for emergency operations, Amy time and time again demonstrates the highest levels of collaboration and kindness. She has an unmatched willingness to personally and promptly come into campus spaces to assess safety situations, communicate with and truly listen to stakeholders whose voices are seldom sought or heard, and then guide employees across multiple areas to imagine workable solutions together. Amy's practice of kindness, in particular, is second to none on our campus. She intuitively reads situations, uses plain language to seek information and consent, and immediately acts on new information and adapts her own behaviors as necessary. In short, Amy is one of the few employees at Fresno State who truly embodies our Principles of Community. Thank you, Amy!
