President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval on Jan. 19 welcomed the Fresno State community back for the spring 2022 semester.
He spoke about the work of dedicated Fresno State faculty and staff, highlighted recent Fresno State accomplishments and shared an update on initiatives in progress, such as the CSU-wide Graduation Initiative 2025 and next steps towards developing our new five-year University strategic plan.
Professor Raymond Hall, chair of the Academic Senate, and Belinda Munoz, chair of the Staff Assembly, also shared their thoughts. Jiménez-Sandoval was joined by Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Xuanning Fu, Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer Debbie Astone.
