Fresno State is joining a national campaign developed by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) to call attention to the accessibility, affordability and quality of education provided by state colleges and universities.
Titled “Opportunities for All,” the campaign focuses on the outstanding academic opportunities provided by state educational institutions, as well as their commitment to each student and to the needs of the local community, region and state.
“The campaign perfectly captures the strengths and the messages of Fresno State, and we are proud to “Be Bold” and join others in spotlighting the opportunities provided by our state educational institutions,” said President Joseph I. Castro. “Student success is our top priority, and this campaign in particular calls attention to the opportunities at Fresno State for non-traditional and first-generation students.”
Shirley Melikian Armbruster, associate vice president for University Communications and chair of AASCU’s Communications and Marketing Committee, said the Opportunities for All national communications campaign seeks to promote a unified brand and messaging for state colleges and universities.
“University Communications is including the hashtag #Opps4All in our campus social media messaging and we urge others on campus to use it, too, when you post about the great opportunities Fresno State offers to all students,” she said.
