African American Programs and Services presents the Rev./Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration, Thursday, Jan. 18, noon to 1 p.m., in the Peace Garden.
Celebrate the life that Martin Luther King led, his dream, and how they apply to African Americans today. Please join us to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and his achievements that paved the way for future generations.

The event honors Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to the American civil rights movement. Dr. King is remembered for his philosophy of nonviolence in protesting injustice and in seeking equality for African Americans.
