The Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship invites faculty and staff to join February's Pay It Forward Luncheon Series featuring Fresno State alum Kenny Borg.

Borg is the chief executive officer of Garuda Advisors, a startup advisory firm that supports early-stage, venture-backed companies. He is also a certified executive coach who works with senior leaders at companies including Google, Amazon, Snapchat and Apple.

A former Fresno State football player and entrepreneurship student (2007–2010), Borg started his first business out of his office in the Lyles Center. That company, a T-shirt printing business called Dog Prints, opened its first retail location in the University Student Union in 2010. It later evolved into The Social Life, a custom sorority and fraternity apparel company serving universities nationwide.

Today, Borg coaches and mentors leaders at every stage of growth — from first-time founders to Fortune 500 CEOs. Through his journey, he’s learned what skills the most influential and impactful business leaders possess, and how anyone can begin developing them now.
